Midnight Sun Farm is a 9-acre organic vegetable farm run by Nick Choate-Batchelder and Becky Stark. The farm is located in the Prairie Crossing Conservation Community in Grayslake, IL, where we lease land from the Prairie Crossing Farm Business Development Center. We grow certified organic produce, and have a commitment to growing sustainably and selling locally, while maintaining a balanced natural ecology. We also raise pastured laying hens for eggs. 2014 will be our fifth year in business, and our seventh year of involvement in small-scale, organic farming.
We love growing vegetables and we love providing good food to our friends, our families, and our community. In addition to selling our produce at the Glenwood Sunday Market (in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood), we have a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, through which our customers can receive weekly boxes of produce during the growing season.
Communities we serve through CSA deliveries and and markets include: Grayslake, Libertyville, Gurnee, Mundelein, Rogers Park, Glenview, Oak Park, and Humboldt Park.
